Proud Mary as performed by Jesters to the Left is a combination the original CCR version and the Ike and Tina Turner slow and easy start with a faster heavier finish.
I grew up on Creedence so I love performing this song and it’s always a crowd favorite for all generations.
Per Wikipedia: “Proud Mary” is a song by American rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival written by John Fogerty. It was released as a single in January 1969 by Fantasy Records and on the band’s second studio album, Bayou Country.
